Schoolfluencer ("we", "us") connects college students with paid content-creation opportunities for their school. This policy explains what we collect through our waitlist and how we use it.
When you join the waitlist we collect your name, school email address, personal email address, and (optionally) your phone number. We also record how you found us (for example, which ad campaign) and standard technical information. If you start the form without finishing it, we may keep the information you entered so we can count interest from your school.
We use your information to (1) notify you when your school joins the platform, (2) contact you about early access and paid campus opportunities, and (3) show colleges and universities aggregate, campus-level interest (for example, "120 students at your school signed up"). We do not sell your personal information. We share personally identifying details with your school only if you later agree to participate in a program there.
We confirm your signup once. Everything after that - reminders, referral updates - you can turn off with the unsubscribe link in any email. Confirming your signup includes sending a link to your school email address so we can check the address is real; this is what lets us pay referral rewards fairly.
If you refer friends, your referral page shows how many people joined and how many confirmed their school email. It never shows their names or email addresses, and we do not tell anyone else that you signed up.
The waitlist is open to people 18 years or older.
Your data is stored securely with our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare). We keep it until you ask us to delete it or the waitlist is discontinued.
You can ask us to correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing hello@schoolfluencer.io. Every email we send includes a way to opt out.
If we materially change this policy, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
